Britt Sims Operator

Britt Sims grew up in Lexington, South Carolina where she attended Lexington High School. She went on to obtain her Bachelors of Science degree from Clemson University and her Masters of Business Administration degree from The Citadel. After working as a Charleston Chick-fil-A® Marketing Director in 2005, Britt went on to serve the Chick-fil-A® Corporate Office as an Interim Manager and a Project Coordinator for the Training & Development department.

In 2009, Britt was selected to own and operate her own Chick-fil-A® location. Britt opened the Chick-fil-A® of West Columbia in 2009 and her second location the Chick-fil-A® at Saluda Pointe in Lexington in 2014.

Team Member and Leadership growth and development is a great passion for Britt. Since 2009, Britt’s Team Members have been awarded over $350,000 in college scholarships, two directors have become Chick-fil-A® Operators, and six have become Chick-fil-A®, Inc. staff members. Over the past 18 years serving Chick-fil-A® teams and communities, Britt’s commitment to providing incredible hospitality and refreshing the lives of her team and guests remains her greatest joy, passion, and accomplishment.

Britt was named “Rookie of the Year” by the Chick-fil-A® Corporate Office in 2010, Employer of the Year by the South Carolina Air National Guard in 2011, and Large Employer of the Year by the West Metro Chamber of Commerce in 2013. Britt has enjoyed serving on multiple advisory panels for the Chick-fil-A® Corporate Office in Atlanta as well as holding Board Member positions with Leadership Lexington County and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association. Britt is currently serving as an Executive Board Member for the Special Olympics of South Carolina. Britt lives in Lexington with her husband, Michael, and their three children.
