In the Community

Our two locations proudly partner with Chick-fil-A Shared Table®, a program that connects Restaurants with surplus food to people who need it. Since 2012, more than 23 million meals have been donated from nearly 2,000 Chick-fil-A® restaurants throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada.
Lexington County law enforcement agencies across the midlands have conducted Cops on the Coop with Chick-fil-A for over 10 years. The West Columbia and Saluda Pointe stores are where the phrase “Cops on the Coop” was started but the original bucket fundraiser started in Conway, South Carolina. Since it’s start at the midland’s location, law enforcement have raised over $250,000 in support of 29,000 Special Olympic athletes across South Carolina. This event is held annually across the state of South Carolina at participating locations and has taken off at other locations across the southeast of the US. In 2022, the South Carolina Law Enforcement movement raised $963,513.00 and in 2023 they are projected to raise over a million dollars. The Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics is the largest public awareness vehicle and grass-roots fundraiser for Special Olympics. Known as Guardians of the Flame, law enforcement members and Special Olympics athletes carry the Flame of Hope into the Opening Ceremony of local competitions, and into Special Olympics State, Provincial, National, Regional and World Games. Annually, more than 100,000 dedicated and compassionate law enforcement members carry the “Flame of Hope,” symbolizing courage and celebration of diversity uniting communities around the globe.

Raised by public school educators in this community, Britt is passionate about youth education, literacy, and preparing students for the workforce. We dedicate time, energy, and resources to partner with our local schools to foster the experience of our local students.

Gator Apprentice Program
Since 2014, we have partnered with iCivics educators at our local Middle School to provide the Gator Apprentice program to 8th grade students. Students learn the ins and outs of job seeking from crafting a memorable application to engaging with a potential employer during an interview.

Chick-fil-A Leader Academy is empowering students to make an Impact Through Action in their local communities. Each month, students gather to learn timeless leadership principles through lessons that we call Leader Labs. Taught in a relevant and engaging way, these Leader Labs give students the practical tools needed to make a positive impact in their local communities. We proudly sponsor this program at our local high school.

Our organization is passionate about providing support to children in need. We have partnered with the South Carolina Air National Guard to send more than 600 books to school children in Guam, donated hundreds of school supplies to local children in need, and provide resources to educators to support their great work.
